Pinsk State Medical College — one of the oldest educational establishments of the town of Pinsk. Pinsk State Medical School (at that time it was a medical assistants and obstetrician school) was a founded in February, 1940. In 2001 it was reorganized in to Pinsk State Medical College.

P.S.M. College prepares specialists (specialisation «Health Care») on the basis of the secondary education in the following professions: (specialties

2.79 01 01 «Medical Treatment»; qualification «Medical assistant - obstetrician»

2.79 01 31 «Nursing», qualification “Nurse”

2.79 01 04 «Medical-diagnostic science», qualification Medical- laboratory «assistant»

All the conditions for preparing highly skilled specialists have been created here.

The college tutors use different modern methords and form s in the process of studying, which makes possible to develop mental and cognitive abilities of the students, to stimulate their creativity, to form their practical skills.

P.S.M. College consists of a training building and an educational building institution) and a hostel. The students have possibilities to attend gyms, a reading hall and a library, an assembly hall and а саnteen. All the studies and laboratories are equipped (fitt ut) with all necessary furniture, equipment, visual aids and educational supplies, supplementary and didactic materials. The students can also attend different circles and sections.

The foreigners (the foreign citizens) and people of other countries must send the following documents into the selection committee:

• application (form)
• educational certificate
• medical resolution, given by the territorial Health Care organization of the Republic of Belarus (after having passed medical observation according to the college directive.
• medical resolution concerning one’s health conditions and certificate witnessing the absence of HIV, given by the official Health Care organization of the country, the candidate for studying came from.
• The copy of the birth certificate, according to the form.
• 6 photos (3x4 cm)
• educational certificate of the preparatory department finished.
• In addition to the documents, mentioned above carried out in a foreign language, their translation into Russian or Belarusian assured in accordance with notarial order, must be enclosed with an application.
